Al began making her own scented candles soon after she started having adverse reactions to mass-produced paraffin wax candles. Crafting her own candles in small batches beautifully complements her artwork and provides another creative avenue through which to express her love of nature and wild open spaces. They also make her studio smell beautiful while she works.

Brethren Candle Co. uses 100% soy wax, essential oils and cruelty-free fragrances, all supplied in eco-friendly packaging.
