This original drawing depicts a river scene in Madagascar during the Campanian stage of the Cretaceous period. These were the final years of the dinosaurs' reign before the mass extinction that ended non-avian dinosaur lineages.
This graphite line drawing was scanned and printed with a colour gradient to form the basis for the full colour version of this piece (also available)
